Centuries from Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Aaron George have placed India Under-19 firmly in control of the third and final ODI against South Africa at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.

Vaibhav delivered a sensational knock of 127 runs, creating history in the process. At just 14 years and 9 months old, he became the youngest captain ever in Youth ODI cricket to score a century. His commanding innings, alongside Aaron George’s hundred, powered India to a dominant position.

Earlier in the day, South Africa Under-19 skipper Muhammed Bulbulia won the toss and chose to field first. Under the leadership of teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, India had already sealed the series by winning the opening two matches, securing an unbeatable 2–0 advantage over the Proteas.

With the series already in their pocket, the Indian U19 side is now pushing for a clean sweep in the final ODI as they continue their preparations for the upcoming Under-19 ODI World Cup.
