Samsung Unveils 2026 Soundbars and Music Studio Speakers at CES

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world’s leading soundbar brand, has officially unveiled its 2026 sound device lineup, signaling a major evolution in home audio experiences. The newly expanded portfolio—set to be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9—introduces next-generation soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers designed to deliver deeper immersion, refined sound clarity, and seamless multi-device integration across the home.

“For over a decade, Samsung has led innovation in home audio by combining advanced acoustic engineering, intelligent technology and elegant design,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business. “Our latest sound devices continue that tradition, offering expressive, high-quality sound that adapts beautifully to every space and moment.”

Q-Series Soundbars: Redefining Cinematic Audio at Home

Samsung’s 2026 Q-Series soundbars are engineered to deliver powerful cinematic sound tailored for modern living spaces, catering to various room sizes and listening preferences.

At the forefront is Samsung’s flagship HW-Q990H soundbar, which delivers the brand’s most immersive soundbar performance to date. The model debuts Sound Elevation technology, which intelligently raises dialogue toward the center of the TV screen for clearer and more natural vocal reproduction. It also introduces Auto Volume, ensuring consistent sound levels across different channels and content types for a smoother listening experience.

The 11.1.4-channel configuration features a 7.0.2-channel main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers and a compact active subwoofer equipped with dual 8-inch drivers, delivering deep, room-filling bass in a space-efficient form. Combined with up-firing channels and advanced AI-based sound tuning, the system creates a wide, theater-like soundstage typically associated with premium home cinema setups.

All-in-One Soundbar: Performance Meets Design Flexibility

Joining the lineup is the new All-in-One Soundbar HW-QS90H, which merges high-end audio performance with versatile aesthetics. Its Convertible Fit design allows for both wall-mounted and tabletop placement, while a built-in gyro sensor automatically adjusts sound channel output based on the soundbar’s orientation.

This 7.1.2-channel system, powered by 13 drivers including nine wide-range speakers, features an integrated Quad Bass Woofer system, delivering rich, powerful bass without requiring an external subwoofer—ideal for minimalistic living spaces.

Music Studio Series: Expressive Sound with Iconic Design

Samsung has also expanded its ecosystem with two new Wi-Fi speakers, the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, offering greater flexibility for customized sound system configurations. Designed to enhance both sound quality and interior aesthetics, the speakers feature a timeless dot-inspired design created by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec, blending artistic expression with Samsung’s signature design language.

Music Studio 7 (LS70H)

The Music Studio 7 delivers Samsung’s most immersive Wi-Fi speaker experience, offering 3.1.1-channel spatial audio through left, front, right and top-firing speakers. Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology minimizes signal overlap for improved directional clarity, while AI Dynamic Bass Control ensures powerful bass with minimal distortion. Support for Hi-Resolution Audio (up to 24-bit/96kHz) and a super tweeter extending frequencies up to 35kHz provide exceptional musical detail. Available in black and white, it can function as a standalone speaker or integrate with Samsung TVs and additional speakers through Q-Symphony.

Music Studio 5 (LS50H)

Designed for users who value aesthetics as much as performance, the Music Studio 5 features a compact, gallery-style form factor that complements modern interiors. Tuned by Samsung’s Audio Lab, it incorporates a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters with a waveguide, delivering clear and balanced sound. AI Dynamic Bass Control enhances low frequencies, while Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control, Bluetooth and Samsung Seamless Codec ensure smooth, intelligent connectivity.

Smarter, More Connected Audio Ecosystem

Samsung’s leadership in home audio—maintained for 11 consecutive years—continues to be driven by innovation from the Samsung Audio Lab in California. This expertise underpins the entire 2026 lineup, uniting acoustics, design and intelligent connectivity.

The latest evolution of Q-Symphony allows Samsung TVs, soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers to function as a fully integrated sound system. Users can now connect up to five sound devices to a Samsung TV, while the system automatically analyzes room layout and speaker placement to optimize channel distribution—delivering clearer dialogue and enhanced surround sound immersion.

Through Wi-Fi connectivity and the SmartThings app, users can manage sound settings, control group playback, access music streaming services and use voice assistants from a single interface. SmartThings also enables instant music control from any connected mobile device.

Samsung’s broader audio portfolio includes the newly introduced Sound Tower ST50F and ST40F models, launched in late 2025, which offer powerful outdoor and party-ready sound. Together, Samsung’s soundbars, Music Studio speakers and Sound Towers reflect the company’s continued leadership in home audio—combining innovation, design and intelligence into a seamless, expressive listening experience.
